Do other people….?
Do other people fight with their mind and body relationship regularly so that it derails them into abstractions like I do rather than just staying focused..?
I suppose I don’t want to be something I'm not but I would like a good working relationship with myself in life, one that could use those moments of wonder in a constructive positive way rather than fall into a state of woe. I think I'm learning

I think what I’m coming to know is that in these moments of wonderment and broad open skies that my illness creates, I have to look at life like this. I was advised by a financial advisor about how I should go about investing in the market. He said to me“invest in what you understand you know and you like and what you would buy or use” in other words, it helped me believe and know to gut belief in my choices for businesses that I invested in. So my life is like that I get moments of sheer awe and wanting and needing and seeing the whole world and not knowing what I want. I’ve come to understand the Monastery and I understand it and I know it and it’s good for me. They are very communal and last night. I had some problems or breathing because of my laryngitis and they all rallied immediately , the former nurse nun, the visiting doctor, my friend Father Max. came to my aid.. It sounds beautiful, it was but pragmatically it was really wonderful . Yeah I felt and I feel very lucky and I feel very much in a good place though. I do want more all the time well most of the time. My stepmother says that’s normal.
I hope you guys have a good day.
I’ll hope to make good use of the time I have
i'll go with one of the world's best known math nerds on this one.
“All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” ― Blaise Pascal, Pensées
i believe there is considerable room for gender equality on this portion of humanity's problems.
lol, you’re great! Thanks Arfie!! It feels like I can barely sit still to make a plan or a train of thought outside the patterns of my mind.
Big hig sweetie
I hole that you were able to rest well
Seeing 'the grass as greener on the other side' is something that most of us struggle with at times
I don't think that's unusual
It's great that your community rallied for you...xo
I’m starting a nonprofit and putting my efforts into it 1000%.
But I don’t have anyone long term with the same time commitment to help it launch. People have other projects come up repeatedly as they move into personal growth rather than nonprofit organizational leadership growth that is missing in our gentrifying neighborhood.
So while different from your situation, it is similar. Hugs.
thanks janet and nikki!
