discovering your own boogie
life is good today. I must admit it's been progressively getting better and better (my days that is.)
I still have my struggles, but I am seemingly more ready to handle my issues -
habituated to the idea of 'shifting gears' aka 'changing my perspective' to deal and cope
with whatever emotional trial that may come.
As I said I still have the auditory struff at times but for even those I am, as above, ready
to put those hallucinations in a framework (a kind of 'this too shall pass') and cope and move on to
what I really need to do.
I had a weird day at work this morning - and then after I got home - I had my quarterly meeting with my Psychiatrist after work (online)
and then after that - the second of my biweekly meeting with my therapist (online) - and both went well. I may be a little weird
but I am finding that I am ok to embrace myself even so...that's what my therapist kind of observed - "You're still
worthy of love from others and from yourself..." a very kind and helpful inspiration!
So, I was at home and I texted my aunt to tell her that her letter never arrived - and thenĀ
she called - In short she rambled on - and she may be 87 but she's still traumatised by her relationship
with my grandmother - her mother.. I wish she would have gotten therapy - and I don't know if it's ok to suggest it
to her - but it's something that has scarred her beyond....
Thanks god!
I feel well even so - even after this call (unusual)
And I am finding my enthusiasm for my own boogie in life....
it's a joy! a something I hope stays near...
rather than live in a spirit of adherence to an aesthetic...a way of being......
my joy is the focus and I'm going with that..
Thanks and happy Friday!

Bee yourself. Everybody else is already taken.
I, too, seem to be noticing that you are loosening up, Markus Questionarius. It has been a real day brightener to see you in open forum.
Encore! ! ! Encore! ! !
Thanks Arfie!
Here's to finding balance! You're doing awesome!
