Discovering myself again

Up until recently I'd read no books unless they were on the theme of personal growth. With a lot of fecal matter now behind me I decided to read my first novel in years. It is over 350 pages and I'm already almost finished it. Amazing! I have discoverred the joy of reading novels again. So COOL!
I'm thinking of going into Buddhist studies again. They are very good for my psychological wellbeing. It is now time to stop neglecting myself. But forget religion. I can't make any sense out of religion anymore.....at least not the Conservative ones. Buddhism was not meant to become a religion which is why I am comfortable with it. I won't be going to any of their religious services though. For me they can be a major distraction.....as with any religion, I gather.
Tomorrow is Friday the thirteenth. No reason to be scared though. After all I've been through, Friday13 is like a fairy tail.

I love Buddhist beliefs and teachings. I think studying them and putting them into practice, even if you were a Christian, would never be frowned upon by any God. Unless Islam, or Catholic, oh wait, they all think their religion is the RIGHT religion.
pardon me. I got carried away.
