Disconnection
So I have been absent for a little while due to an issue with "disconnecting". Apparently this is another aftershock of going through the exposure therapy. I did some research and have found a few books that I am going to obtain to help me through this. Cannot afford to see my therapist at the moment, but I am confident that I can handle this on my own. Just use the same method that I used in therapy. Lots of reading, and self education, and writing and activities. Compared to the actual exposure therapy this should be a cake walk.

I want to welcome you again, but also what you describe I call an emotional/anxiety hangover. The over-stimulation literally drains the dopamine levels so recovery is slower..may feel disconnected, even in a static way.Okay one minute...out the next.
