difficulty planning and letting life plan itself

A lot of the times I have a hard time planning my time, outside of the daily routines...

the daily routines are wonderful saving graces...that I've developed over time...

my doctor has told me that the 'difficulty planning' is a quality of the illness i have.

it's crazy because i can get so trapped in the moment and not know what to do.

but what I am starting to see is that sometimes the 'needs of life' plan the time for us.

So I am trying to go with that..

I love planning enough that my shrinks accuse me of hiding in the future. The biggest problem I, personally, find in that love affair is that plans are so easily de-railed. Worse, the plans which fulfill always seem to have some unforeseen side effect that makes the success worse than failure. I've learned the hard way to be careful what I wish for.

I put enough therapy work into "staying in the moment" that I find myself befuddled at the thought of "being trapped in the moment.

Oh, for the love of balance. . .

I can get really lost when life becomes subjective for me...I have to remember to be 'self responsible' and that reminder
along with seeing outside myself enough to see that there's not a lot ot be worried about and to be grateful
helps.

Gratitude is key!

I don’t think we have to have every moment planned. Setting little goals and achieving them helps, no matter how big or small. On a bigger scale, I feel learning and researching as being an accomplishment. Watching pbs is good stuff!

Hmm. I had to plan 'free time' in order to reduce the mapping planning I prefer to use.

Here's to finding what works!
