Didn't nap today
I didn't nap today, and I had a good night's sleep (12 hours). I went for my walk today, 1.2 miles. I'm going to try for 1.5 miles tomorrow. I thought I walked faster than I actually did, but that's okay. I can work on getting faster too. I want to start training for a 5k again. I'm going to do it differently than I did the last couch to 5k... I know I can speed it up a bit. I just have to be a bit careful. Last time I tried to do it too fast and jumped from 1.2 miles to 2 miles and got shin splints. So I'm going to do a couple 1.5 mile days before I go to 2 miles. I know that I need to take days of rest and cross training as well. I don't know what I'm going to do in May when I can join a gym for free (with Medicare's silver sneakers. There's an LA Fitness near my house, but it's just out of walking distance (especially round trip) I could take the bus, but I'd rather not.
