Didn\'t make it to Dublin
I caught a cold and have felt lousy so we didn't make it to Dublin this week. We are thinking mabe the first of December. Boy have I been lasy, all I am doing is playing my computer games. I did wash Molly the dog(she was a mess) I hadn'y gave her a bath since she was with Roscoe. Is kind of funny with her but anytime I leave her with soemone she spends about of couple of days to get around me, like she is mad at me or something. I really need to get studying on my driver test. Yes I have another one scheduled on November the 19th. Maybe third time is charm. I hope so because I am actually getting tired of doing this, seems like they would give me the license and be done with it. LOL I really do hate this time of year. I always got depressed at Christmas time even before my daughter died. Oh I have tried for many years to try to make the best of it, but now that there is Peter and me with no kids coming for the Hoildays I don't have to try...Maybe I should try...Peter is the same way so we are helping one another..LOL I have managed to buy some christmas presents so many to buy fro ans so little money this year. I really do like buying presents but don't like to go into debt doing so. Now we just have to motivate ourselves to get out of the house and do something. I think it might be pub night Friday night. LOL We haven't been out since August to the pub that is..... Have a good week

I do believe that here at DS, most of us agree that the \"holidays\" are a very difficult time. I know I dread it all. If I did not have the grandkids, I would try to just skip it. I know we have no money either. Most everyone I know has money problems right now. We all just have to muddle through it the best we can. We all need to love as many and as much as we can. That is more important than presents or money. I am just waiting on JAN> too! love,Peggy
Cindy,
Can you find a place to do volunteer work for Christmas. Do they have facilities for children that may need cheering up. That would be a great incentive to get your license :-).
Have a little something for me at the pub. I get drunk real fast so make sure it is a small drink. Hugs, Inga
Thank you for commenting on my journal. The project is going well and almost finished now. I, like most of the people on here, am also dreading Christmas and as its the first Christmas without Rod money is going to be a bit tight for presents. We (my family and I) are all trying to think of gifts we can give which don\'t cost actual cash - helping in the garden, showing how to create a new recipe, etc. Might be nice.
Hugs from Angela
Too bad about Dublin. Hope pup night was fun. I find and have always found the holiday season awful. I use to try for my kids but since John died I just gave up and now this year I\'ll be in the middle of an illness, so I won\'t again. Have a great week and study. LOL love and hugs Cathy
