Devastating news

Unfortunately, we lost little Max Michael on 12/8/15. I went into the hospital on 12/6/15 with an extreme case of pre-eclampsia and we later found out my placenta wasn't working properly and Max wasn't growing like he should have been, measuring 3 weeks behind. After several more tests, a transfer to another hospital that specializes in high risk pregnancies, we were told on the morning of 12/8 that Max wouldn't grow anymore and the only chance of survival for him was to take him out via c-section. He was taken out that night and the nicu doctors did everything they could to keep him alive but after 20 minutes of trying to resuscitate him, we let him go. This has been by far the most difficult thing my husband and I have ever gone through and we are completely devastated right now. I am sorry for the downer news but if anyone can relate and empathize with me, it is you ladies. I hope everyone else continues to get good news and have great outcomes.

Oh my goodness. I am so sorry. Thank you for telling us and being so open. I can only imagine how difficult it was to relive it while writing it down. I am so so sorry you have to go through this.

Thank you ladies. We are struggling right now as you can imagine and I am of course in a lot of physical pain from having a c-section but I\'m healing much quicker than I thought I would. If only it were that easy to heal mentally and emotionally :)
