desperate for answers

something just hit me.i was going into labor, i was having contractions at 11pm that night and gave birth at 3am.i had the belt monitor on me SHOWING i was having contractions.the nurses HAD to of known that i was going to go into labor. the contractions didnt stop, they were so close together. i didnt know...i didnt know what was going on, i just felt the horrible pain come and go every few minutes not knowing what was going on. why didnt they stop the contractions? they didnt give me any medication to make them stop. the doctor knew i wanted to wait a couple days to see if the amnotic fluid would come back.it could of been stopped, the labor could of been stopped.i had no idea i was going into labor, i was so disoriented from the pain medication they gave me i didnt ask enough questions. WHY am i having this pain? are these contractions i am having? cant you stop them from happening? dont you know that im not supposed to be going into labor??  what if they had stopped the contractions so i wouldnt go into labor? there was hope. i want answers so bad.

I cannot imagine what it would be like to think things such as these. I remember and still think a lot \'what if\'s\' in my loss situations, but that is not the same really. You know I\'m always here. Love you. xoxo

One thing to consider: doctors do sometimes make mistakes. Maybe they should have halted your labor... I\'m not a doctor so I can\'t give you a more educated answer than that, unfortunately...

And you deserve answers - I think they should have stopped the contractions - and had they been alert - they would have. They should have been asking you questions - it was not your job to ask them. But please know this - you did everything you could have done. It was not your job to tell them what they needed to do - it was their job to find out. Please don\'t beat yourelf up for not having asked enough quetions.
