Depressed over death of a musician
Im sure everyine has heard of the passing of Taylor Hawkins of Foo fighters, I have been a big foo fighters from the start so this news kind of hit me hard, Im quite surprised it hit me that hard because I never knew him personally although it feel like I did because he has been a part of my life so much
My immdeiate familt dont get it and there might even be people on here who think Im silly as well which Im ok with that. I am part of this one gfan group on Facebook and it seems Im not alone in feeling like this

i haven't heard of either taylor hawkins or the foo fighters, but gentle empathy on the loss of a celebrity icon. i certainly feel it when i lose a favorite, though sometimes i like imagining that the loss of their physical form has given them the insight to return the favor and cheer me on from their celestial choir. that has been especially easy to imagine with leonard cohen. 6 years after his passing, i feel closer to him than ever. he keeps singing to me sweetly from the tower of song.
Sorry you're feeling sad, friend. And no it's not silly that you are. I took it hard when Kurt Cobain died. Many said he was the speaker of my generation.
I think we all get attached to the musicians we love. And a "hallelujah" out to arfie. Hope you're feeling better soon!
