Dear DS Friends

I see a bunch of hugs and messages from you and I am so grateful for your continued support.  I have not forgotten you, I hold you in my prayers and continue to hope for your continued grace and strength in the face of your challenges.
I am trying my best to 'live through' CFS.  After my 1 month post-surgery crash I was not doing too badly until I got clocked by Chik-V.  Another month before I could walk straight again and then I got hammered by a lung infection.  Just picking the tremulous limbs up to haul myself up off the ground again.
Even though my attendance is still choppy, I got a good review at work which is huge since my previous boss was on a lynching campaign.  Blessedly my new boss chose to judge the work, and the work held its own.
Started a project on my house, will have to abandon this coming weekend because the lung infection has weakened me to the point where I cannot handle anything outside of basic survival.  Ah well.
My son of course got chik-v and the lung infection as well, so of course my poor CFS bod got a double dose of docs and prescriptions and all the attendant running up and down.
Day-to-day maintenance items are taking a back seat.  My gas finished  a month ago and I have been cooking in the microwave because I cannot lift the 25lb cyclinder.
Here's a funny one.  I had  FLEAS.  You heard me.  I have untreated hardwood on my bedroom floor and apparently this is a great breeding ground for fleas.  Dog brought them in then they multiplied so much the poor dog was terrified to set foot in my room.  I would put a foot down it would instantly be covered in fleas. I have never seen anything like it.  Fortunately good old salt and baking soda worked so I can walk barefoot in my room again.
I have to laugh at such adventures, even if they are BADventures.  I have to give thanks for every day that I can get out of that bed and get on with living my life, even if am walking crooked.  I am so grateful for the will to keep going and the ability to do it at least some of the time.
I am enjoying living THROUGH CFS.

Gotta go peek at your journals.  Be blessed my DS friends.

FLEAS!! AHHHHHHHH~!!! Yikes. Yes! That is a bad adventure. Thank goodness you knew about the salt and baking soda trick. Poor doggy was even scared!! Jeepers. Wierd things happen to us, don\'t they?? LOL...goodness!!

So sorry you\'ve been so sick Max. One thing right on top of another. Sometimes things don\'t seem quite fair....the sick get sicker...or something. But, as you said, you are living THROUGH CFS and you are doing really well considering all the additional physical burdens you are carrying right now.

It\'s really good to hear from you! Please know that I have just prayed for you...that the good Lord would show mercy and get you quickly back on your feet!!

Big hugs! xox

Well now Max you sure have been through the wars as the saying goes. After surgery ,then the chik virus (never heard of that one) and then a lung infection you had to just add those FLEAS !!! didn\'t you hey. What a trip my friend . I\'m not surprised you have abandoned your latest house project . After going through so much you still manage to maintain a positive attitude and continue on like warrior woman.Could I please have some of whatever you are having? Not the fleas, I mean the stuff that builds a warrior woman.I seem to be losing my fighting spirit lately.Hey we just had a plague of red ants in our house. They appeared so suddenly from I don\'t know where. My Japanese daughter inlaw was totally screaming and freaking out.Unusual looking ants too ,quite big. I am not coping at all with having my son and his wife here and want them to move . However I don\'t want to hurt my son\'s feelings as we\'re very close and love him dearly. They have mentioned moving in January.I spend nearly all of my time in my room.Oh dear.Happy to hear your work is still going well max and the boss is pleased . Hasn\'t 2014 been a hard one hey.Surely next year we will get a break. I think we all deserve it. I\'m praying .Hugs and happiness to you max xo

You are one trooper, Max! It is astonishing the amount of trials you have and still maintain your faith. You sound like a creative woman and gifted in writing. Thankyou for being so entertaining and encouraging others. I am inspired to tough out my suffering--I hope you get some relief in some areas. I\'m starting to see that God may have a plan for me, but so hard to accept all I\'ve suffered. Your faith is incredible in the face of such trials.
