dealing with unstructured time
I went to my therapist yesterday - and she gave me a lot to think about.
Out of the ordinary, later that day, my Stepmom asked me to spend the night
at their place because she needed some help with her dog. So, I slept there and went to work
from their house... which was kind of different.
I went to work and things went ok, and then I came home. Usually on Saturdays
I enjoy indulging in treats (no more alcohol) and today I make a big bunch of pasta.
It was different for me and very fun. I then layed down on the couch and tried to nap.
My Aunt called me and for some reason it really took me out of my mind. Triggering a bit.
Then I couldn't really find my centering and so I decided to go out for some diet coke.
Not a good idea. Diet drinks are poison. They're not good for my mind..just like the alcohol
was not good for me. I went to the local Panda Express where they have fountain drinks.
Got it there. Had a weird interaction with the lady there and just was more susceptible
to upset I suppose. I came home and now I am wondering why I can't seem to cope.
I think it might be the unstructured time. Nothing really to engage me except the TV
and internet and I think it might be time to go for a walk....
By the way, since cutting out alcohol I think I am starting to lose weight. Everything is fitting
just a little better. I have also heard that soda pop can cause bloating..so I think I will cut it out
of my life even more, like the alcohol. It's poison.
Cheers,
M-diddy

Did you know that soda pop came to us through medicinal hallways? When I treat it like medicine and use it in balanced doses, it really can help me purge gas from my digestive tract. A steady diet of soda hits my senses like drug abuse. Balance in all things.
Do you need further proof of just how crazy I am? Certified Nut and willing to recertify if you'll pick up the tab. My favorite thing about being a Certified Nut is that it is the perfect excuse for those out of whack days.
Continued support while you find your own excuse.
thanks arfie!
Anything with carbonation causes cellulite and soda has high fructose corn syrup in it (most due) which is bad for you in so many ways and just turns into fat. So yeah Soda is way bad for your body.
I think the medical version of "soda" was more Bicarbonate of Soda and/or Seltzer water used for gas and indigestion issues or "dyspepsia" as they called it back in the day...they never meant Coke or Pepsi or Dr. Pepper or all the other crap soda out there to be used in a medicinal way....
Thanks
alcohol causes cellulite too. yuck!
Big hug for you Marky...… I hope you have some nice days off sweetie..... I'm sorry that you've been feeling a little off today.... I hope that tomorrow will be a better day.....xo
