Dealing with Smokey's car is such a downer for me.

Dealing with Smokey's car is such a downer for me.  I don't drive.  There is a car loan still oustanding about $5,333 or so.  I have to take a two page document to get notarized.  After that, I have to take the papers to an ICBC Rep to get the car in my name.  After that I have to see if I can sell it close to what there is outstanding on the car loan.  How does one find out what the 2005 Chevy Cavalier is worth with a broken driver's side lock?  If I can sell the car to pay off the car loan, all that is left is to transfer any monies remaining to my bank account and the estate will be settled.  I look forward to the day I don't have to deal with Smokey's estate any more.  The day is coming soon.  I am just concerned how much I can sell the car or if I can sell the car.  Right now it is a red elephant in my life that is for sure.
What is surprising for me that doing all these things is really bringing me down.  Yesterday I was in such a bad way.  I don't want to take it out on Dave at all.  He is such a kind and gentle soul.  Even gentle souls can have their moments.  We are all human.  This morning I was not the greatest either but talking to my friends like yourselves really helps me a lot to get out of this blue funk that I am in now.  Smokey loved his red 2005 Chevy Cavalier and that was his baby.  His baby is now my red elephant that is on my back.  I want it off and gone out of my life.
My daughter Lisa lost her engagement ring the other day.  I tried to help her find it without much success.  I haven't called her back.  I am afraid she hasn't found it.  How can one lose an engagement ring?  I would have treasured it and kept it on my finger for starters.  She said it was a little big for her.  I said she should have it sized.  She never did.  Lisa would take the ring off and put it on her night stand.  It could be any where.  I figure it is her problem and Lisa is old enough to deal with things.  She has my grandson to look after.  Tyson is such a wonderful child who smiles a lot and is good natured.
Talk to you soon and bye for now from Diane Baillie
