dealing with other people in public
When I go out after work, I usually go to the same places. The same two places to be precise.
I go to the market down in Malibu for snacks or supplies.
Then on Sunday after laundry (very much a routine guy) I go to the Starbucks in Trancas.
It kind of feels like the cashiers or the baristas always take a swipe at me. I am really a peaceable guy.
I used to like going out and enjoying the time shopping. Now I just want to get what I am there for and make an exit.
My mind went to the notion of invisible disabilities today.
I don't get it. But I get that not everyone is the same so you kind of just have to deal with it. Rise above it
and just offer good spirit for me and them...?
I need to start asking for receipts because, for who I am, this might be the best way to handle it. God I must
sound like such a twerp LOL but seriously I have had people not give me the receipt before and was overcharged.
So, it's Sunday and I go to my Dad's house now. I see my stepmother who just got out of the hospital.
Oh god haha you guys get such an earful of me - and know me about more than most. Thanks for reading my 'stuff.'

You're trying to figure out a way of handling the Starbuck situation. Personally, I always ask for a receipt...I sometimes get the "look" from the cashier, but who gives a shit. It's your money for a product and service.
I hope your Stepmother will be on the mend.
Big squishy hug sweetie..... There are people who are angry no doubt about it ... I think a lot of the time though it comes from within them not from other people.... I agree that it might be a good idea to get a receipt....xo
Yeah, you just never know why people are not friendly. I just try to be nice if I can. I don't usually get receipts for small items, but it's probably a good idea to do so in case someone overcharges me. Good idea, Mark.
thanks guys!! you rock!! XXOOO
