dealing with nerves
I went to my therapist today and was feeling well, like I could manage well before I went in, had healthy perspectives
on solo mio.
We started chatting and I think we had a good chat.. After I left, I started to feel nervous..
but aware. I guess the transition from being with someone so intimately in conversation to being
on my own again in the world is a tough transition probably for a lot. But I did the errands I planned to do
and now I am home. I have a chore of hanging a couple of pictures and I am thinking I will do them tomorrow.
Just reading stuff online is calming me down.. I guess it's helping me be kind of linear in a way - and getting
myself back in touch with the awarenesses and self management perspective that I had before going in to chat.
I hope you guys are having a nice Friday... and have a good weekend ahead!
I guess always wanting to know my gps is probably not too uncommon. I care about my therapist.
She's a good lady - and I think though I may give up my power when seeing her - to care about her
just puts me in touch with my humanity, and so when you're all emotions, no wonder you might get nervous...
it's an amorphous state. But now for me, it's back to getting on with my day. Structure and tally ho...lol
For now, I will just deal.

You give up your power when seeing your therapist? ? ? Have you spoken with her about that feeling? Sounds like a most excellent therapy topic.
Ya got me thinking about one of my own major therapy themes of "Rejecting before I can be rejected." My shrinks seemed pretty unanimous in their opine that this was a Social Anxiety symptom. My own social anxiety case is pretty intense and I find myself dancing with the demon quite allot here at the start of my second parenting career. I kinda feel like these 3 orphans need a broader social base than their beaten crazy bitch wolf Gammy and my strictly personal social anxiety is howling. I needs to go WHERE and do WHAT!?!?!?!?!? Does I HAVE to love these cubs THAT much?!?!?!?!?
Yea, I reckon I do. Beaten crazy or knot, wolves mate for life. Ya can't fight mother nature. . .
Now that you are in touch with your humanity, ya got any extra to loan to a beaten crazy old bitch wolf? I mean. . . well. . . You are one of those volunteer heroes at the animal shelter and all. . .
Hugs Arfie. You’re a hero!
