Dealing with hurt

I don't know if it's leading to be more responsible or less of a dreamer

or maybe just more temperate way of dealing with myself and my feelings. I'm grateful for the time off I have right now. I'm getting in touch with dreaming with satisfaction a bit. The dealing with the hurt or 'the unknowns' really make me think that it probably would be better to interpret for myself with a positive twist on what the person meant in her text.

It's all good just sorting through some things, I'm human.

starting out with a fierce desire for academic achievement made it something of a shock when a sister-in-healing suggested learning how to be comfortable with ignorance. her suggestion was not meant to encourage me to bury my head in the proverbial sand. it was meant to help me deal with the awkward silences and cryptic nothings of social interchange. wtf does that mean?

if i am meant to know, i will know when the time is right. until then, what other people think of me is none of my business.

side note
as i typed that last bit, the base lead in for the doors classic popped in my head. "people are strange."

I think it's a great approach to give a more generous interpretation to her text. When we don't know someone's intentions, our minds often fill in the blanks based on our fears. We view everything through our own personal filter. In my opinion, it's best not to assume the worst.

Also, if you feel comfortable doing so, you could ask what she meant. Honest conversations can lead to clarity and a deeper connection.

Hugs.

It just took a night’s rest to move on.. The nun is how she is sometimes.

I agree that our own trying to read between the lines may not be accurate

Right now you can sing 'I'm gonna wash that girl right outta my hair"...xo
