dealing or not dealing

i don't how people conduct their lives without serious detours

or a feeling of being totally lost like i do and then get back on path

with work or relationships.

Just writing this out is helping me to remember to be self responsible of my

own boogie but I feel like I have to or be in the process of making sense of my

amorphous, fractured mind with the conclusion to put the idea of ever having a significant

other aside and just be a good friend to all my friends. With friends we can

share emotional intimacy but I kind of would like to share life goals and ocassions

with someone day to day under the same roof. I have Blue :) hehe

I suppose with friends we can share those things as well.

I'll be grateful for friends. :-)

I don't know ANYBODY who gets through life without serious detours or feeling totally lost. I know I certainly didn't plan on the immaculate conception of triplets (inheriting 3 young orphans) at age 65 and I'll be jigged if I know what an 80 year old soccer mom looks like, much less how to be one. Nor am I finding allot of support from published pros or folks who have the experience to guide me. I missed the retirement planning seminar about getting youngsters through braces and college on a fixed income.

I've gotten MUCH further learning how to trust the mystery, listen for the quiet voice and keeping ^it^ personal. I can't even hear my husband's quiet voice after 40 odd years of collaboration, much less yours. More and more, I believe Faith is far more reliable than facts. The unseen forces can see around corners neither I nor the accredited experts even know exist.

Faith and gratitude are, more and more, my closest friends.

I am grateful for the kindness of virtual strangers (e-friends) who let me sort, uncensored, through the confusions and contusions of life.

One of the more challenges we face as we move through life is finding that balance of what we share with others.

Writing it out helps to sort out the issues that come together in certain times, places, and with people.
