DD31's visit (part 3)
So, today DD31 flies in and I find myself sad that I won't see her til Thursday. I am glad she "heard" me when I sent her an email 2 months ago letting her know how I felt about always staying with her father. She is splitting her time evenly this time. ..4 days with her father and 4 with me. For the last 8 years, she has only stayed with me twice. But, it's hard...knowing she's only 5 minutes away.

She heard you and is trying. She hss split her time evenly so she can see both of you. That is progress. Now you can plan some fun things to do while she is with you. What fun the two of you will have.

I decided it\'s time for some one-on-one mother/daughter time, so booked a room at the Irish boutique hotel in Galena, IL on Friday night which is only an hour and a half away. I also booked us facials in the afternoon. We\'ll visit the shops and enjoy Happy hour and hopefully there\'ll be live music at the pub that evening at the hotel. :)
I also hope she\'ll be up to going to see the new Meryl Streep movie coming out next weekend. Looks really good.
