Days 9-11 of HRT

Days 1-8, especially 3 & 4, were very rough. (See previous Journal Entries).
....but suddenly, it's changed! I woke up Sunday (Day 9) and I felt....NORMAL!! no Morning Fight, no sadness! For the first time in months and months, I not only was looking forward to the day, but I actually had Energy! I went to a conference with my husband and a friend, and we had a great time!
Yesterday (Day 10)...again, no Morning Fight! Hubby went off to work, child went to school, and again, for the first time in MONTHS, I was optimistic and had energy, and got out and did a whole mess of errands before coming home and making dinner AND cleaned up completely afterwards (more often than not, if I had the strength to make dinner, I left at least half of the cleaning up for the morning because I would be so sad and exhausted).
Now this morning: some gastro-intestinal stuff going on, but without that Black Cloud of Despair, it's not a big deal, and I am capable...nay, looking forward to, doing the chores I have planned for my day.
My only regret is that when I went into my gyn's office and asked for HRT, I completely forgot to specify bio-identical hormones, so I have to call her today and check. I almost don't care to know; I just am so relieved to feel good again.
I also want to record that since I'm not so, so bloody SAD, I can now face the many different parts of my life with the proper attitude, particularly my marriage. When I was depressed, anything and everything that made me sad, mad, and/or upset in any way, even if it was a tiny little thing that happened years ago, would become a HUGE, effing deal, and all those huge, effing deals would dogpile me. For months and months, I would wake up, look over at my husband sleeping peacefully next to me, and feel nothing but anger and resentment; here I am feeling like crap YET AGAIN, and yet again, there he is, going along with his life, all peaceful, happy, full of energy, and able to get the things he needs to get done, done. He'll go off to work, and my day will be crying, sleeping, and domestic drudgery. He could escape, I could not.
Well, now that the HRT has kicked in, I have a lot of making up to do. For years my husband has been as supportive as any male could be, and I'm just so happy that I can now wake up, look over at him, and finally again feel the love and appreciation of having him in my life.
I was so against HRT, but I should've started it years ago. Now that I'm a stable human being again, I've got a lot of making up to do.
