day to day - the illness and the bittersweet
I woke up this morning and my mind undermined me pretty drastically.
My mind takes me to places that are so fractured and seemingly
out of control, out of order, out of function.
But I slowly accepted things today. Just as the priest finds whimsy
in the nuances of difference in each day's diving liturgy,
maybe too I can find a sweetness, if but a bitter sweet
acceptance about my daily nuances which my mind serves up. Acceptance for my emotional state
and again pushing forward with what I know what to do, is something
that is holding me together.
I know I can do the work here. The routine of it is both just the right kind
of assignment and also is a prescription for holding this disabled mind in health.
I slept in today. I am going down now to get some coffee and community
with the nuns. :)
