Blahblahblah
I remind myself of these basic platitudes every morning, and so far I haven't been proven wrong (in spite of my own best efforts and worst counsel).
The only time in life that matters is this second, so we’d better make the most of it. Not a damn thing I can do about tomorrow, nor yesterday, and NObody is thinking of my past ”failures” as much as I am. So they’re not failures, really. All I can do is keep going and try to do better, try to lift myself a bit more, try to lift someone else a bit more. And so I shall…

Entrepreneurs don't call it failure, they call it learning experiences. Imagine making decisions that lose 500 people their retirement funds, and still getting up the next morning and doing something else without a flicker of shame.
Okay that's sociopathy.
But you know, never forget the God's eye view. What He sees when he looks down (you don't have to believe in him to do this.) What would God be looking at. Just how terrible are your crimes, in amongst everything that he sees right now. :)
I agree. Tomorrow and the past do not even exist. Only in memory and imagination. We can learn from the past and direct our future but living can only be done in the present. I miss those days as a kid when everyday was brand new. Now as an adult, it can seem like one continuous bad dream. Sometimes I wake up the next morning feel like I only took a small nap, still aware of the happenings and thoughts the night before. Or come out of a moving theater and know exactly what time it is, where I'm at and what day it is while remembering to check my pockets. As a kid that was impossible. It was like coming out of a coma. That reset button looks mighty appealing now!
