DAY 75 - TREATING MYSELF KINDLY
Well, I have come to the 75 day mark; I believe it is the longest I have gone without gambling since 1998... quite a long time of making the wrong choices. :]
Anyway, I'm on track and today I decided to treat myself to a facial... in about an hour. My husband had given me a spa gift certificate back in November and I still haven't used it! It has always been difficult for me to do nice things for myself, whether it be clothes, pampering, whatever.. I'm not sure why... my mother was the same - wouldn't spend a lot of money on "her". I always vowed not to follow in those footsteps and I'm stepping out now that gambling is out of my life. Money is definitely going to be allocated differently, and I've already started that.
