Day 5 of the Streak!
This is day 5 of my no fast food streak. I'm still at the same weight since I've been going over my calories for the day. I don't know what my calorie count were for the days that I did eat fast food on because I was too scared to count. You would think knowing how bad off I was would be helpful to get me off of fast food, but it didn't since I didn't track it. I went over my calories again today by a bunch... I've just been so hungry! I was good and went for my walk today. I started out good, but then I had to slow down because the heat was getting to me. It was hot- somewhere in the 90's- but it doesn't cool off down here at night, and I don't live in the best neighborhood. I did my 1.2 miles and went home. I brought 2 bottles of ice water, but it was hard for me to drink it because it was so cold. I think just putting my bottles in the fridge would be best rather than freeze them since I had so much trouble today. Tomorrow I might take a rest day from walking. I'm not sure yet.
My mom had to put her dog, Lola, down yesterday. It was really hard on all of us. She had been part of the family for a long time but it was just her time. She had really bad allergies to something that they never figured out, and fleas that wouldn't go away. She would scratch herself until she bled. We were always yelling at her to stop. She was such a happy dog, though. She always looked like she was smiling, no matter how much pain she was in. I did cry a bit... I can't imagine how it's going to be when I lose Angela. She's such a part of my life that I don't know how I would get along without her. She's always begging to be pet and loved. I call her a love whore lol. Just like I called Lola "stinky flea butt". Man, I miss Lola still and I only saw her on short visits to my mom's. *sigh*

Take care in the heat and humidity.
So sad about your Mom losing her pet.
that is great, 5 days no fast food!!!! try and not get hung up on the fact of not keeping track, your eating more healthy and walking, you will lose again soon. i could never walk in that heat! please be careful and good to bring water, maybe just have it be fridge cold? so sorry about lola, it is like a family member dying, so hard. i didnt know you had a dog. what type? hugsss
Ann, Lola was my mom\'s dog. She was the happiest pit bull you had ever seen. I would like to have a dog, but Geo says only one pet at a time since I can\'t handle a lot. But I visit my mom often and I got to spend a lot of time with Lola. *sigh* I miss that stupid dog lol.
Great job with 5 days of no fast foods. Whooo Hooo. don\'t worry about the calorie count right now. You maybe, hungry because you are changing what you are eating. Be proud you are taking 1 step in the right direction off fast food. the calories will come.. then the weight loss.
Be careful in that heat when you walk. Great job walking 1.2 miles. keep it up
