Day 4 of HRT

Okay....I started with the Minivelle patch late Friday night. The doc said that it would take a couple days to a week for my body to get used to it. At the beginning of next month, we will add Progesterone pills.
So far...it's been like a bout....that weird, feeling like everything's off-kilter, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Everything makes me want to cry (the death of my favorite comedian Robin Williams has been no help), I don't care about the things I should be caring about -what's for dinner, what we need from the store, if the kitchen floor is clean or not. This is my Job, like J has to go to his job and L has to go to school and do her chores.
It will officially be one week this Saturday. Today is Tuesday.
Yesterday I was supposed to take my daughter out to get some more clothes and to enjoy our last day of Summer Vacation together. That morning, I was feeling bad...then I had an epileptic seizure. So the day was shot; we spent it stuck at home, with me resting/sleeping on the couch and going stir-crazy. (My daughter is a trooper; she was wonderfully understanding and just hung out getting her room cleaned and playing on her phone).
So now both J and I are a little concerned about me going out by myself.  This means I have to wait for him to take me anywhere (we have no family or close friends who can help with stuff like this; believe me, I would do ANYTHING to have one of my aunts living in my city).
Gotta go...gotta get the kid off to her first day of school, then have a good cry.

Aw, I am so sorry you are feeling so lousy! Can I say I\'ve read your journals before and know you have a hard time. Like so many of us! I also have read your posts on the menopause thread and your are always so supportive and caring. I think that is a wonderful quality being you have so much on your plate!

I also love Robin Williams. I feel so bad for him and know it must of been a horrible situation for him..

You hang in there! you are so strong! I hope you are doing better this afternoon!

God Bless!

Vicki.
