Day 3 of picking myself and I still feel angry and like a failure why did this happen to me my life has been hard im only 24 and almost died one time and now this is making my life a roller coaster my tummy has been a mess since the medicine and I don't even know of I wanna accept I have diabetes. I just need to find people who understandÂ

Hugs, my friend. You are still in shock. I know I was for a couple of months. If it runs in the family, chances are we will get it. People are born with it and live to a ripe old age with no complications. You just have to watch what you eat. Everything in moderation. After a couple of months, it will become second nature to you. I know what to buy and how much to eat. It will help with the weight loss too. I have to really start eating more veggies and protein. Less starch. No one knows how long we live so just enjoy each day and try to live in the present
