Day 27: Thursday
Took meds at 10 last night, then bath. No benadryl and turned out the lights at midnight. Slept through to about six-ish, but turned off the alarm instead of snoozing. Reset the alarm for eight and rolled over. Insane dreams after that--I think I could base a novel around one of them it was so funny! And vivid for that matter.
Back is okay today, but knee is still very painful. Has been for several days. Have used my cane every day for eight days now and not planning to put it aside anytime soon. Fatigue is five, pain is four. Seriously considered not going to work, but decided to go anyway. For now. Can't wait for Monday's follow-up with the doc.

Hang in there, sweetie -- I\'m cheering you on! and if you can\'t make it through the day, go home. That looks far better than not going in at all; everyone has days they just can\'t make it through...
Thanks for the support, Jack! I love having my own cheering section! So far so good today, but we\'ll see what happens next. I am not martyring myself for this company anymore. That\'s a decision I made about a month ago.
ROCK ON, girl!!! YOU FIRST!!!
(we should start a movement --- \"No More Life-Sucking Jobs! MY LIFE FIRST!!\")
Take \'er slow, sweethaaht... :-))
Amen to that, hon! There are things in this life that are worth hurting for. This job ain\'t one of \'em. :)
