Day 26: Wednesday
Last night I turned out the lights at about midnight. I got up soon after to take one benadryl and I was able to get to sleep fairly quickly, despite DH's horse cough. Woke up far too groggy to think today, though. And my back is killing me. Took the morning meds at about 8:30 and added two aleve for the back pain. Seriously, if I did not have a meeting today I would not be in the office.

Oh, you poor thing. Leave and go home after your meeting if you can... blame the back.
Oh I will, never fear. Sadly, the meeting is at 1pm, so there\'s a wait involved. I did go in late today b/c of it. If it doesn\'t get better, I\'ll go home anyway and tell them to dial me in to the meeting from there. It\'s not preferable, but I\'m no good if all I can think all day is \"ow, that hurts!\"
Good news--the aleve has taken my back pain down to a quiet murmur, so I can finish my day. Still leaving after the meeting, though. No need to aggravate it. Go home and lay on the floor with my feet up awhile before I get the kids.
Sounds brutal. Maybe give hubby some Delsym. It seems to work better than other cough meds. Hope your day improves.
Thanks for the thought, triunfadora! Delsym is the main thing he uses, though last night he just refused to go get it. I call it a horse cough inly because he sounded like one. lol
