Day 22: Saturday and Day 23: Sunday

The day from hell. I slept in, but not horribly late. I got my meds on time at night and in the morning. I had headaches all Friday night. I took Advil and then had to get up around 2:30 to get an oxy. But I woke up without the headache at least. We packed up and got things ready. As we were taking luggage down to the car, the boys got a bit too rambunctious. All of a sudden I'm hearing DH screaming outside about opening the elevator. By the time I can get down three flights of stairs and find out what's happening, DH is chasing my oldest son (DS1) and yelling. There were families watching this debacle like it was some kind of reality show! I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. I had to wrangle them all upstairs while keeping DH and DS1 apart. In short, it was a nightmare and a half. The stress of the day did NOT help my pain and the long drive was just as unhelpful. I was very tired and sore by night.
Took night meds Saturday night and slept okay. I managed to get up and get to church--Thank God! Literally. lol I really needed that boost. I was quite sore when I woke up and tired, though not utterly exhausted at least. I had a really hard time focusing Saturday and Sunday. I finally read enough of my homework to get the assignments completed. I'm behind on my reading--way behind--but I think I can catch up this week before the exam next Sunday. The stress of this situation with DH is getting to me, though. I should really be in bed already now, but now I'm not feeling sleepy. I did nap this afternoon, so that's maybe part of why. I think I'll suck it up and try anyway.

ohh, honey, I\'m so sorry!! Do you want me to come over, kick both their asses and give them a good talking-to about how much such behavior embarrasses, exhausts and hurts you? They need more education.
I\'m glad you were able to feel a little better... Yes, it sounds to me like you need more rest -- and Peace and Quiet!! I hope you get it... Warmly Jenna, Jack

Thanks, Jack. Mostly, I\'d love to get to the dojo and kick the crap out of the heavy bags. I haven\'t done that in years and I REALLY miss my taekwondo. That was some of the best stress relief I ever had. One of my goals is to get back to it when I\'m not flaring and take my classes. I was almost to black belt when I had to quit for surgery, then I never really recovered form that surgery. Our folks are so understanding about limitations that they\'ll help me do things gently so I don\'t overdo. But, first things first, gotta take care of myself.

Oh, yeah, I hear you! Rambunctious children are always interesting when you are so exhausted you can barely move. I figure the neighbors shouldn\'t judge. If we were to be honest, we\'ve all been there with our kids. Get some rest. I know how hard it is to be a mom with this illness. I sense that God sees our widow\'s mite that we offer to Him as we give the last of our energy each day to raise our kids. I believe He honors that. Love you loads.
