Day 139-7

Still staying away!  A good work friend came in today saying she had gone to the casino and lost only 5.00.. not sure how that happened, since she & I used to go together and meet up at the ATM! Walking around at the end of the night with the lost, desparate look. :]  Anyway, she has noticed her mother increasiing her gambling - from about twice a month to 3-4 x a week ... she is concerned about her now . . so that might be why she left only a few dollars down... The thing is that everyone has their own path . . and time of readiness... I can attest to the timing of this... I was fooling myself over and over again . . that I really wanted to quit, but I think the truth was I didn't - or at least not bad enough to do the work...
It's an interesting journey - that is for sure!
