DAY 116
No breaking news - missed a day of journaling, so jumped up two days to 116.
It's the weekend and of course I always still think about going to the casino, but the further along I go, the more I DON'T want to go back to Day 1. There are so many more reasons to stay stopped, but when you do something like this for so many years, the thoughts don't just magically disappear from your mind. Not acting on the thoughts is the key. I feel so much happier NOT gambling than I did gambling. That's the bottom line. Happiness is very contagious and people are always noticing and commenting on it to me at work. My emotions must have really been showing for a long time - the fear, anxiety, depression, etc., so things have changed greatly.
Hope all are doing well,
Smokeygirl
