Day 11: Tuesday

I went to bed another half hour earlier last night and managed to get to sleep pretty quickly. But this morning I was still dead tired. Not to mention that the house was FREEZING. It didn't help that I had night sweats last night, so my clothes were soaked, the sheets were soaked, and the heat was off. WTH? I jumped right back under the covers and set an alarm for 8:30. I felt a little more awake at that point and went to work.
My knees are particularly painful today, so I am using the cane all day. I hate it, but I'd rather preserve what I can of this cartilage-free knee.
I took two aleve last night at bed time, I took one at 8:30 when I took my meds this morning. Hoping this helps overall. I still find that I am bruising easily and everything else still hurts. If cymbalta was supposed to help the pain, I'm not impressed. We'll see what the next few weeks yield.
I wonder if there isn't some way for me to work at home regularly, but not every day. I know boss and company hate the idea, but it worked when I was at the the last company. Having just two days a week at home kept me rested enough to be productive every day. I'll have to mention this to Sonya (doc).
Update:
Around 2pm starting having those ice-pick headaches and some really bad heartburn. I ate clean today, so no idea what's causing the latter. It only lasted about ten or twenty minutes. But the ice picks keep coming back. Ugh. Cannot wrap my brain around my work right now, either.

ohh, I\'m sorry you had such a rough day, Jenna, I hope today is better. and I hope and pray boss and company see how much you\'re suffering and realize that letting you work from home a couple days a week is best for everyone.
