Day 10: Monday

I got up mostly on time today. I had to fight off the fatigue, but I'm in the office on time and feeling ok. My back has that nagging very dull ache like "take care of me or I'm going to hurt you!" I'm putting extra effort into good posture today.
I got to sleep right at midnight last night. While it's late, it's earlier than I've been getting to sleep. I used a lavender linen spray on my pillow before bath and that helped me to drift right off when I put down my book. Must see if Bath & Body Works still carries that one so I can get more.
I forgot to take the aleve last night or this morning, so I am going to get some advil in a few minutes from the med cabinet at work for my back. I think I'm going to just keep taking this until my back stops aching or until my appointment on April 13. If I can find time, I'm also going to order a massage in there somewhere.
So far, no knee pain. The Voltaren kept it almost completely at bay yesterday, but I don't remember to use it during the day. So far so good.
One cup of coffee this morning.

Update:
I sooo wanted another cup of coffee today, so I made it decaf. Then I had a meeting at 1 and that was a rush, but short. I got back a little after 1:30 and sat back down to finish my user guide. About 2pm tho, my brain started to rebel. I could feel it saying, "Noooo!!! Don't make me work anymore!" Then my body started getting tired around 3:15. I went soon after to pick up the kids and go home. Now I'm going to try and get a nap.

Mornin\' Jenna, it sounds like you\'re off to a good start today. Take care of that back! and the rest of you, of course.
The lavender linen spray on your pillow sounds like genius!
Do you have a cell phone? If so, it almost certainly has a calendar feature where you can set reminder appts for yourself to take your advil, voltaren, whatever you need to remember (or be reminded of! lol) I use it for my meds, calls I need to make, dr\'s appts... pretty much everything.
Keep on having a good day, hon! be good to yourself....

Thanks, Jack! I\'ve used my phone for reminders, but they typically don\'t work except for actual appointments. Anything else gets the \"I\'ll do that later\" response from my brain and it\'s outta my head before I realize it was in. I\'m thinking sticky note on the bathroom mirror. I always look there. :)
