dark place

i shine the light across my face
looking back at that dark place
no more do i want to be there
no more do i want to share
not my secrets, not my life
not something i want to sacrifice
scared of the shadows that are near
scared of life, and people i fear.
walk away, run so fast, quick
pick me up, and throw me like a stick
make it end, make it go away
make it stop, i dont want to stay.

Glad to see you\'re wanting to be out in a good way! Change is difficult and can be scary, but it is well worth the effort!
