Day 7

So, one week today clean. I am so very happy, and grateful to be givin another oportunity at life. I really didn't think I was going to be able to get out of that. Thank you, God. Talking to Tim last night, and he finds it skeptical about it. That doesn't bother me tho. He doesn't know how it really is to be completly enslaved by a drug, and I was. All I've thought for the past couple of months was to have a pill handy so that I wouldn't get sick. The stealing and stuff still makes me wince when I think about it, but t6hat's what drugs do. You don't have a choice. Anyway, I can't stay in that. Like my sponsor said, I need to look after me. I'm so happy that I have so many numbers now to call. I'm developing some places to go to, which is very good. Places where I don't have to worry about people using and stuff. I don't want to be around anything to do with that. I get paid today, but not worried about having money. I don't want to use or drink anymore. That was enough. I'm going to John Howard Society tonight for my counseling. I've always liked talking to him. It's time to be honest tho. I was thinking last night that I have spent so much time just talking shit, and not getting anywhere. I want to see what him, and I can do. If nothing, then I need to move on. I'm getting my membership at the gym to tonight. That will be good working out and getting back in shape. Easy does it tho. I seem to always, or have in the past, want it all now. I know I can't do that. This episode taught me that it takes time, and you need to just go through whatever it is you have to do. I feel very good today. Looking foreward to what lies ahead. God, show me your ways. Teach me, lead me, and please, change me. Thank you
