Cutter Scars

I'm wondering how to heal cutter scars naturally. I've done well so far in not cutting, but even in the summer times I have to wear long sleves. Now, before you say cover them with a tattoo, that's a no go, I have spoken to several artists who say they are still not healed up enough for them to even attempt that task. I have done vitimin E treatments, scar bandages, vitimin lotions, nothings working after months of treatment.

Try Mederma. A friend of mine used it for a really bad scar on her neck, it didn\'t remove it completely but dramatically. Just a suggestion.

Thank you, I haven\'t tried that yet.That\'s a good idea. I have anemia, so it\'s hard for me to heal. I accept they will always be there, but the sleeves are not working out in summer.

I sometimes use this lotion, Palmer\'s Cocoa Butter Formula, it\'s usually used for stretch marks on pregnant women but it helped with some of my scars. I have some scars on my wrists that haven\'t healed so I just wear lots of bracelets or a watch with thick bands to cover them... I even have a difference in color now between my wrists and my arms because of the sun.

your right about the tattoo. i got my sons name and kanji for strength over my suicide scars when they were like 6 years old and it still bled into my scars. not that bad but noticable to me. mederma helps but not much with raised scars.
