Don\'t be mad at yourself. I went to a tobacco seminar to help myself quit smoking. One of the things they said was to think of this as a process. Not \"either I smoke or I don\'t\". One thing they said that made sense to me was, if you slip up and smoke think of it this way. If you were walking up a flight of stairs and slipped down one step, you would get back up and start walking up the stairs again. You wouldn\'t throw yourself down the rest of the flight of stairs and just stay on the first floor forever. So, all you have to do is say to yourself \"I am a non-smoker who slipped. That doesn\'t make me a smoker, that makes me human. I am a non-smoker.\" and then figure out what you were doing before you smoked, how you felt, explore that area! And then find a way to combat it the next time. I am 78 days smoke-free... it is NOT the easiest thing to do! I give you kudos for that first step... now keep going! You can do it!
