Cried because I really miss Smokey. He was one of a kind.
I cried this morning as I really miss Smokey. He is or was one of a kind. I don't think I will meet another man like him. No one can fill Smokey's shoes that is for sure. I am dating Dave but it is not the same thing. Smoky left a big hole in my heart. I miss him so much. My life was so much better for having Smokey in my life. He always made me feel loved, secure and safe. I don't feel that any more. I don't feel loved by any man. I don't feel secure and I certainly don't feel safe.
What brought these feelings on for me was that I had to cancel my house insurance as I can't afford to pay it on my pension. The pension covers my monthly bills and I am starting to put money down for the yearly bills (property tax and utilities). I found out I can make monthly payments on these yearly bills which helps me out a lot. This way I don't have to pay one huge payment in March and July of each year. The insurance woman named Catherine was nice to me. If things change for me, I can go through them again, which I will.
I figured a few things out for myself and the reason it is good to have Dave, Don and Tyson in my life. I would be a recluse or a hermit without them in my life.
1. Dave gets me out of the house.
2. Don comes over and helps me out of my moods and gets me out of the house.
3. Tyson gets me out of the house as I babysit him. They are trying to potty train him. I went through that 24 - 25 years ago with Lisa. I hope Tyson will be easy to train. I never potty trained a boy before. We will find out tomorrow how things are going. I always babysit Thursday to Saturday. I come home Sunday morning.

Diane ...I also have come to the realization that I will probably never find a man that can add up to the qualities of my Buddy...I also always felt loved, secure and safe with him. Together we were like the workings of a fine clock working away. I have learned to cope on my own...I have my children and grandchildren and friends that keep me busy and fulfill my life for now. If one day someone comes into my life and can make me happy I will accept it with open arms..but I have given up the search...I have attitude ..If it happens, it happens!! Happy that you were able to work out a payment plan for your taxes and such...
