The performance of a website from a technical and user-experience aspect is becoming a stronger component to achieving top results. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ryte and HubSpot enable you to examine many important details about your website and its usage. For example, the HubSpot tool can identify which organic keywords are already driving traffic to your website. The same is true of Google Search Console, which is free. These keywords create a good base of core keywords and give you a list of keywords that you can use to measure the performance of your future SEO efforts. Information Snippets are the block of text found under the main title of a google search result. The use of information snippets are important when writing an article.

Content is K|ing

Google is increasingly understanding what content actually means, rather than just what it says You should not try to‘trick’ Google. A proximity search uses the order of the search phrase to find related documents. Standard engagement behaviours on SERP results, such as click-throughs and time on page, can be an indicator of freshness and relevance. Organizations should take many factors into account when pursuing an SEO strategy.

Create great content consistently

An SEO writer must take the time to understand who your audience is, what is important to them, and what content would be useful and meaningful to them. Realize that meta keywords are only used by your competitor to see what you want to rank for. Google still doesn’t use them. Targeting highly sought-after keywords can make it harder for you to rank higher in search, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t become an authority on a topic by using different phrases for the same concept. Poor spelling has always had the potential to be a negative ranking factor in Google if the word that is incorrect on the page is unique on the page and of critical importance to the search query.

Search volume

On page SEO of course refers to all the strategies that you can use within your pages to get Google interested in your site. This begins with content – and it begins with having a stronger understanding of the subtle changes Google has gone through in recent times. It’s no coincidence that the highest-volume keywords also tend to have the highest amount of competition, and of course, the higher the competition, the harder it’s going to be to rank for that keyword. Have you ever wondered why Google.com delivers different results for a user in the US than for a user in Germany? We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "To prepare for voice search, you need to take a good look at your current content. Ask yourself, does it answer any question a user might have? If not, change it."

Create great content people want to read

The correct order of keywords will generally rank better as compared to the same keyword phrase in a different order. Many marketers are sofocused on building out site hierarchy, wireframing and design of the site that they lose site of content development. SEO is a huge part of content development, but when content becomes an afterthought during web redesign, and the focus is on getting the new site live ASAP, often times marketers will put the content together without deliberate thought to keyword inclusion and smart SEO content strategies. For me internal linking is one of the most undervalued aspects of SEO, with many sites having inefficient menus and/or poor site structures. SEO is technical, complicated, time-consuming and potentially dangerous.
