CRAZY DAZE!

Sat., 10-24-08:  I am in a daze!  I am feeling crazy!  So much going on!  There are so many things happening at once that I have waited for, for so long! I got an email from the reporter I did the interview with, about Methadone.  She "said" the investigative report will air this Tues., Oct. 28, on Fox-Channel 27, here, in the Ozarks.  I hope it helps someone, somewhere.  I also hopes it blind sides certain people and they will be held accountable.  I am looking forward to seeing it.  I think. I also got an email from HARMD. (Helping America Reduce Methadone Deaths)  There is a video on YouTube from HARMD-Part 3 that includes Scott.  Go to YouTube or www.HARMD.org  It sends a very strong message. Today I met with my author friend.  He took a sample of the book I have been writing and will be giving me advice, etc.  I am looking forward to whatever help he has to offer.  It is so awesome that he is willing to take the time to even look at it. We just about have the store emptied.  What a mess!  There is one realtor who has a client interested and yet Craig won't call her back.  It is frustrating.  I guess he has some plan of his own in regard to selling the building.  I just want it gone.  Craig has been so stressed about the whole thing!  That, of course, stresses me. SNAP!  (Imaginary rubber band.)  All the frustrations in the world don't compare to losing Scott.I have to keep myself calm by reminding myself of that fact.  I didn't get much done today around here.  That is okay, I guess.  The book is high priority right now.  I have to get it all typed up.  It is very time consuming.  I have been doing my laundry tonight because I am so far behind on that.  What a life....laundry on a Saturday night!  Tomorrow I have to take care of some outdoor plants.  We are supposed to get a freeze on Monday or Tuesday....I can't remember.  Regardless of what I do or don't do, life will go on.

You are burning the candle at both ends, for a very good reason honey. Somehow you\'ll find the energy you need to proceed on with a great cause. It\'s meant to be - and eventually things will calm down again. Of course it\'s all stressful - digs into your regular routine - and takes time away from those wonderful moments - like laundry...it will all be fine. I agree - nothing in my life will ever match - the stress of loosing Shaun. Never. Rest when you can; and try to stay focused. Delegate thing if you must - and take care of you; while your projects are in the works. Love ya.

Such a wonderful cause you are working on. I watched the YouTube video and it just breaks my heart seeing so many lives taken from using methadone. I believe all your efforts WILL help someone out there. Like Deni says, take some time for yourself to rest and regroup when you can. It\'s all good, honey. Love ya, Adrianne

Too much is too much, Hon! You need to stop and take some time for yourself. Phew!! What a schedule you have, I am just afraid of the \"crash\" Take one thing at a time so you don\'t burn out. You need to take care of YOU in order to be able to deal with the rest! Love, Judy

I take methadone for restless legs syndrome, it works 100% for me, without it I would never sleep another night again. But I am wondering if such low doses of methadone like I take (only 5 mg at night) can cause such severe fatigue like I am having?

It is wonderful that you are spreading the word & helping others. Please, keep us up-dated on the book. My brother has been using methadone for many, many years. He is not a social user he can\'t & won\'t stop. Going to check out the site. Bless you, Love, Lucille

I hope the report will touch many lives. I hope by getting the word out that more people will be aware of the hidden dangers of methadone use. Good luck on the book and the laundry will be there tomorrow. Take care of yourself. Love Robin

I sure hope you can get your book published. I\'m sure it will be a great help to many people. If we can live through the death of a child we can do anything. Love and hugs Cathy

There is busy and that is not bad to be, but this is a little to much I think. You need to slow down a little. Take a break. Love and Hugs.
