Crazy day in this hospital today
It's Monday March 18 th... and it's been crazy here in the hospital. People coming in and out of my room so much it's been driving me nuts ! I can't tell you how many times I've told them to CLOSE my door ! But only some will do it, and then some won't no matter how clear I was about wanting my door closed. I think the employees here have learned to have selective hearing.
I'm praying that I'll STILL be here Wednesday March 20 th, so I can Visit with Ray one more time before being transfered to Rehab. I really need that one more visit before going to Rehab. I really do. God knows my heart, so I'm praying to God to please grant me this.
I tried to stand up today with physical therapy, but my body just wasn't having any of it no matter how hard I tried.
I felt like my balance was completely OFF with physical therapy today. I tried hard to focus, and do the " nose over toes " thing, but it didn't help.
At least I was able to scoot sideways very well, using my legs to move me. That impressed the physical therapists.
Right now it's a few minutes till 4 pm, and I'm actually hoping that someone - anyone - comes by so I can ask them to please close my door !
How many times do you have to ask people to close your door before they actually hear you ? lol
One thing is for sure.... after this crazy day I should sleep very well tonight.
I'm just praying to God that I don't have any bad dreams tonight.
Marie doesn't understand at all about me taking Ray back... but oh well.. it's not her life... not her relationship... not her decision.
I love Marie, and I know she's just concerned, but she needs to keep her nose out of my business to a healthy extent, so I don't have any problems because of it with Ray.
I try to be nice and reasonable with the employees here, but sometimes it's very difficult to not get short tempered with a couple of them when they don't seem to truly listen to what I've asked for.... over and over... and over again.
I'm hoping right now that the exposure I've had to the LOUD noises out in the hallways won't end up bringing back my very bad headache I had earlier. I hope not.
If it does... at least I know there's at least ONE nurse that knows what to give me for it.
