Crappy day #2
Today was another crappy day. I slept in until 3:30 pm and still had to drag myself out of bed. I'm sore all over and exhausted. I tried going for a walk to make myself feel better, but it just made me feel worse. I took 10 mg extra of Celexa (antidepressant) but it only lasted a little while. I'm probably going to go to bed soon... I feel so bad. I took a Vicodin the pain was so bad, and I want to be asleep by the time it wears off fully. It's already wearing off... I'm in pain again, but it's not too bad. I just wanted to cry it hurt so bad. I don't know where this pain is coming from, but if it doesn't get better in a couple of days I might have to go to the Urgent Care and see what they have to say. I'm pretty sure it's just the depression, but it could be something else.
I talked to my mom today, and the neurologist that she went to said that it's more likely that she has the beginning stages of Parkinson's and not MS. She has to get another MRI done, as well as other tests. I'm going to be going up there eventually to help her out with stuff when she has to go get her tests done. I hope I can help... I'm still recovering from the last time I went up there. I'm scared to take the train again since the last time I went up there it was hell. Well, I shouldn't complain too much... She might be moving in a couple of months. Tracy, her husband, is currently working in Tampa while she's in Jacksonville. They switch weekends- one weekend he goes up to see her, and the other she goes down to see him. But his next job is going to be in Canada, and so she is going to quit and move to be with him. Then I won't be able to see her as often. So I have to take every opportunity to see her. I just hope that I'm feeling better by then. I don't know how long this depression thing is going to last.

Sorry that you are in so much pain Rissa. What kind of pain is it? Joint, muscle, gut, headache? Constant pain can wear a person down. I hope it leaves soon.
Not good news about your Mom and her health issues. I was wondering how she will deal with getting medical attention in Canada? I am holding you and a your Mom in my heart and prayers. HUGS!
joycemarilyn took the words right out of my mouth. where is the pain, what kind of pain. all this pain does where one down and can trigger the depression to act up. i hope you do go to urgent care if it keeps up and they have some answers. so sorry about your mom, terrible disease. how far along is she? even though you get off your schedule when you visit you are right to go now before canada. as said above the care may be free in canada but the wait list to see a doctor is months. many hugsss
My mom and her husband are going to be staying on the US side of the border, and her husband will be bused over daily. So if she gets disability here, she won\'t lose it. She just needs to keep her job for health insurance.
