courage

I am having trouble finding the courage to believe in myself.  Believe that the person I am with is not sabotaging my happiness and growth as person for his own.  When I feel the confidence to pull myself up and get away he somehow turns things around and makes me feel like I have done something wrong and like I am not putting enough into our relationship.  Why can't I speak up for myself?  Feel good about myself long enough to do something except cry...inside and out?

Thank you for sharing. That is sadly often living with the lies of Depression. Depression tries to convince us that we are worthless, and that can attract the wrong people. It can take time to build yourself up, but best to not be around any that know how to easily pull you down. It is much easier to pull down with Depression, but someone who you are with should care enough to understand that you are important, and more than worth the encouragement. I hope this made sense. Thank you and God Bless.
