Couldn\'t resist the temptation!
So I took one of those darn HPTs that has been calling my name! I am 6 days past a 5 day transfer and it was POSITIVE! But, I can't remember if my IVF nurse told me not to take an HPT because it could give me a false positive or false negative????? Do any of you know of someone that took a test and got a false positive? Just can't bring myself to get too excited about this until my beta on Monday. I don't want to tell DH because he will be soooo mad that I took one.

I think it\'s supposed to be false negative, but I can\'t remember either. Just stay positive=) LITERALLY. Praying and hoping that you have good news on Monday. HUGS.

I would say pregnant. I think the trigger shot would be out of your system by now. If so many women who have tested + this early is a good sign because your HCG is getting pumped out by snuggling baby. I say you are pregnant!
I agree...I think you are pg!!!! I took one 7days past a 3 day transfer and it was positive, then I took one at 9 & 11 days past and they were both positive! You can always take one again on Sunday....I am SO happy for you!!!!
I always cheated and took one! Did you take an hgc trigger shot? If so, that may be what she is talking about with the false positive. But if it has been 10 days since you did that it\'s out of your system. I would test again in a couple of days and if it is still positive, it\'s positive! I think it sounds like you are pregnant to me!! btw, I am 19 weeks w/twins and I tested positive 5 days after a 5dt, so I think you might be golden :)
Girlfriend I know we just got off the phone but I have to tell you again....I am pretty certain you ARE PREGNANT and I am screaming with joy and excitement for you!!!!!! Can not wait to hear that beta # on Monday!!!!!!!!!

The phlebotomist at my clinic told me that after 10 days the trigger shot should be out of your system. I think someone else said the same thing above. I\'m so excited for you!!! Congratulations!

I think you are past the point to where you would get a false positive.... take one tomorrow and see what it gives you. Sounds like a high beta number to me if it is already showing positive now........ maybe more than one. :-)
Girlie you are so knocked up!! I think your husband will get over it once he sees you are preggers. What a beautiful mothers day gift!! Soak it all in and heres to the next 9 months!!!
