CONTACT
I think if I were to write a book about my life, I would call it "CONTACT."
So much of my life has been about searching out ways to connect with friends, family,
school mates, work mate, et al..
I've tried to come from the vantage of connecting in a meaningful way - and also
connect in a safe way - (which is the rub.)
I think they mistakes I've made in life has added to a kind of shutting down -
and piling on layers of protection and or reasoning. When in fact my health is found
in finally being ok with myself and the melee that so often life is.
But I won't examine that. I've been proposed the idea of writing a book
about my life - and I would suppose now - that rather than purely an historical account,
I would come from the vantage of connection and community..."CONTACT."

Big hug Marky....That would be interesting
A ton of work though
If it's something you wanted to do yoh could take all the time you needed so as to not put pressure on yourself
If it takes a decade so be it,!!
It may be theraputic...xo
Thanks Jan!
carl sagan beat you to that title in 1985, but jodie foster is the celebrity you'll really be competing with for her portrayal in the movie.
butttttttaaaaa, butttttttaaaaa, butttttttaaaaa,
figuring out the title is the easy and potentially fun piece of the book-writing challenge. the hardest part for me has proved to be plying ass to chair and staying focused, especially when writing about the psychotic messes of my life. flashback city. . . i need a shrink team on my editorial staff.
one of my all time favorite movies! I used to watch it over and over!
If you want to start small, maybe you could share your story on a smaller scale by posting an abbreviated version on a "bipolar" website. I Googled "Share My Bipolar Story," and these two look good. Have a Terrific Tuesday!
