Considering This Is My First Journal Entry..
I guess I should explain a little about myself, so the things I say on this sight have some merit.
My real names IS Heather. I'm not a creative mind. So my usernames are usually my real name. (Why HeatherDawn88?) Because "Dawn" is my middle name. And 88 is my favorite number. See? Not that creative.I'm 19, and an out-and-about lesbian. The fun part is that I'm out in a community of about 2500 Catholic-raised people. I moved here 5 years ago for a fresh start, and OH BOY was it fresh. This is no Los Angelos, and the ladies are SCARCE!But, lucky me, I found a needle in a haystack and met a beautiful woman who I've called my girlfriend for the last 3 years. (We may or may not have taken a 4 month break, but that story is for another day.) I have to say I'm pretty happy :) maybe content is a better word...hmm..
Anyway! I came out when I was 13, to my single-parent household consisting of my mother and younger sister. So when it comes to that subject, I find I'm pretty helpful.I'm excited to see what this site has to offer! And I hope to meet some pretty insightful people. :)
