conserving resources in my habitrail life

I am having a good day here at home. Work went well, uneventful but did good work.

I wasn't questioning things so much, although a couple of moments I adjusted my

attitude after some moments when a better attitude was needed.

I came home and played with Blue. I made lunch, and watched some tely...

I showered and dressed and put things at the ready for tomorrow.

Played with Blue some more and checked the mail for letters...junk today...most

days...

Anyways, I noticed if I am left to my own devices here at home it can seem like

i live in a very kind of habitrail life... taking care of my life...ensconced in my habit

of going to work, doing a routine job, then coming home to the routine I have here.

I'm taking care of all that I must and ought to...I talked myself out of getting ice cream

and instead made a big pot of coffee. A better substitute to help conserve resources.

I have just been kind lolling here at my place - thoughts about how I should

be living my life have come and gone...It seems that it helps me think of/imagine myself

in context of judgement or rather perspective (perhaps - no judgey- is best but I need some reference points), but in truth without that kind of perspective

I am pretty contented with a very quiet mind living peacefully here with my cat - and

all the provisions I have. Watched some old movie on the TCM

and now just tapping out my thoughts here on DS.

Things are pretty good. I kind of feel like I am living in a quiet closed networked loop... as I said 

'a kind of habitrail life/work' dimension...

Variability might be the aim for the future with this potential move

and it will certainly be a challenge...right now I am just going to be

smart about what I spend (if that means looking for alternative ways to spice

up the day at low cost) and be good to myself as I take care of life.
