confused and unsure
it has been a long and exhausting last couple of weeks for me. I am having tons of anger these days and some very dark disturbing thoughts that have left me feeling conflicted... I was numb from the antidepressants and now that i am off them i have been getting bombarded by emotions that i have to now deal with and not sure how to do it. one day at a time one moment at a time has been the goal so far. I thankfully spent so many years in therapy that i can somewhat be analytical like a therapist does which has let me be somewhat successful in understanding things about my behavior but this does not always help in the "how do i process this" area of things. I know that the anger is just an extreme amount of pain and that i am outraged at how i was treated. I am doing my best to not allow this to get the better of me and be positive in life these days but it gets hard and sometimes i withdraw from my friends and life for a day or two and then feel better but it still bothers me. I have done very well with handling things after going off a couple of the meds i was on so i am trying to stay positive and be easy on myself for not being the super-person i wish i could be. I am impatient with the healing process and i just have to remind myself it will take as long as it takes but i have been having difficulties with being kind to myself when it comes to this!!! I am just hoping that i don't fall back into a depression because it was hard enough to get to the point i have gotten to...feeling worried and conflicted. A so called friend (male) of a friend came onto me pulled me close to him and rubbed his junk onto me within the last month bringing up some unpleasant memories for sure and i am fairly positive that it is messing with me a bit (my good friends have been supportive of me and are so upset with him that he is moving out of town) thank god for my good friends support on this. so i guess i now feel somewhat better just writing this out-journaling is therapy in itself...i just gotta stay strong and to be honest i will never give up fighting to be better-ever.
