Coming up on one year
Well it has almost been a year. It has been a hard one. I still miss him with all my heart. I have almost begun to accept that he is never coming home. Instead of expecting him to walk through the door I just long to hear his voice or see his face. I don't cry out loud as much as I cry inside now days. The grief group I was going to helped a bit but I don't know if I will be going back to them. I will try and write some more later. I just.......don't have the energy to do much anymore. On the good side I have lost 60 lbs in the last 3 months. Take care all of you and hope you have a wonderful new year.

the first angelversary...... my heart is with you... but kudos on that 60 lbs!!! love ya!
Tight hugs on James\' first angelversary. I wish I could be there to cry with you. Grieving is exhausting. We are here for you - read our journals, write when you feel like it. Do whatever you need to do on this journey nobody wanted or could ever imagine. We understand and care.
Love and tight hugs,
Marlene
I have no doubt it\'s been the most challenging year of your life in so many ways. Grieving and moving into healing takes SO much energy as Marlene said only do what feels gentle and healing for you. I have found that over time my tools have changed and what has been serving me might not any longer, so you are wise to remain open and seek support however that might look and feel for you.
Way to go as that is a major weight loss in only three months. WOW!
Loving care and so much understanding as you approach your son\'s first angel day.
XO Joanie
Oh my heart is with you, be gentle, kind, and do whatever it takes to make it through. You are in my thoughts as is your sweet angel James.

Not even sure how I made it through that 1st year - don\'t remember much of it - all I know is that I made it. Know that I am thinking of you and hugging you so very close as you come upon the 1st angelversary. Hugs, Ann
Hoping you make it thru your son\'s 1st angel day all right. Will be thinking of you that day...
Thinking of you. My first anniversary of Jeff\'s death seems so long ago and I can barely remembering getting up. All I really wanted to do was give up, but somehow I did make it thru, year after year. Hoping for you some gentle days as you approach your precious son\'s first angel date. Love and hugs, Nell
I know this first year is very hard, but remember we are here to help. My first 3 years were a blur. They were very hard, these last years are not as difficult but still full of tears.
Hold your hand and sending tight hugs
Penny
Hugs of compassion dear friend.
(((hugs))) - sending much love to you to you. Vicki
