coming from a place of strength
you can't always feel good about what you're doing if it's with someone
who is a curmegon or grouch. it really set me off today after I worked
super hard at meal prep - as I was the only one there.
I then transitioned over to the vespers service and the nun I work
with was being a real byotch- I know she had a procedure that
day - but it threw me for a loop as I was in the mode of taking care of everything
and she seemed to be throwing sand and saltwater in my eyes.
I felt good about the work that I did today - but then when I was with this person
and was obsessing on the negativity I reckoned what I really wanted here at the service
and in my life, was to come from a position of strength. A person able to take care of
his responsibilities, a person able to come from a place of compassion and caring. A person
able to snap back when flack flew in his direction. And I did that today - and made lemonade
and lessons out of sour lemons. Things are good. Sending good prayers and strength out there.

Good for you!!
I know it's not easy being on the receiving end of a bad temper
It's so nice that you were able to give yourself what you need sweetie
Big hug...xo
Thanks Janet!
i still often wish i could feel only one thing all the time. just wishing. i find it much easier to live with the full range of emotions god has given me when i simply accept those emotions as they flow.
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. ~2 corinthians
thanks arfie. i've been thinking a lot about your phrase 'letting god lead the dance.'
I've been in touch with that outlook lately - and yet right now I am struggling with myself
and have a hard time letting go...I've heard the phrase 'let go and let god' - I think I have to do
that, peace, peace, peace.
