Closure?

Yesterday I mailed the check for the final(?) legal bill on the Breach of Contract in the River Region. I been robbed. Case closed. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.

As I leave the contractor who robbed me to his own karmic debt, I find myself more able to roll past the robbery and remember the river dreams which led me so often to the river region throughout my long and broken life. Was I wrong to invest in the property which was supposed to serve as my land base for the real time exploration of those dream potentials? Right or wrong, it remains a done deal. Que sera sera.

Dunno. . . Think I'll pass on the soothsaying for today and simply be grateful that the projects here on the Southern Great Plains are going well enough to soothe my wounded spirit after the Breach of Contract robbery. I find myself a bit stunned to realize it has been almost a year since I was fool enough to write that check.

And life goes on. . .

Dare I be hopeful those bold dreams might one day return without Breach of Contract slime on them? We see. . . There was zero pre-meditation in the original dreams. They were pure survival fantasy. Just gems from the cesspools of a broken life.

karma will catch up one day, it takes time, but indeed it will catch up. We may struggle to feel like karma will never come, but indeed it will show. The world works like a giant circle, it rotates in ways we can't figure out, but one day things will be restored.

Sounds like a good idea to put it behind Arfie. There was a t-shirt people wore in the old days that said "Its a beautiful day, now watch some arsehole come and stuff it up". There always seems to be someone to mar our dreams but I guess that's part of the tapestry of life. I've always admired your resilience and philosophical take on life.

I hate writing checks. I use plastic! Sorry for the holdup.

Same here – hugs and support. I'm not real familiar with your situation because I just joined here recently but I'm getting the general idea that you purchase land and have the wherewithal to do so and that sounds like a wonderful lifestyle. I'm sorry that you got burnt; that has to be really really hard when it's on the scale it seems to have been. Best of luck though with the project that is working!
